October 5

ArchitecTours 11th annual celebration of local architecture and culture identity will be held from 10 AM to 4 PM. 5% of ticket sales will be given to ACE mentor program of Santa Barbara. This program helps mentor high school students and inspires them to pursue careers in architecture, construction and engineering. October 12

Santa Barbara’s annual Harbor and Seafood Festival will be held at the Santa Barbara Harbor. Come enjoy the freshly caught seafood served all day long from 10 am to 5 pm! The specialty food booths will be preparing fish tacos, barbecued albacore, crab, lobster, mussels, oysters, sea urchin, clam chowder and seafood paella.

Did you know that the Santa Barbara Harbor brings in 10 million pounds of seafood every year! That brings around $30 million to help support the local economy. Admission is free, but make sure to bring your wallet to purchase fresh food from the food booths.

Right next to the Santa Barbara Harbor is the Maritime Museum, where they will be hosting the Wine & Seafood Pairing. This is only happening between 12 pm - 3 pm. Admission is $30 in advance or $40 day of. You’ll be able to enjoy the wines made in Santa Barbara as well as the live music and scenic views from the Maritime Museum patio. Ride Santa Barbara 100 returns on October 19. There are four different routes to choose from, for varying experience levels. Also, Yamaha will be offering e-bike demos behind the riders. Registration costs between $90-$150 depending on which route you choose. Rates raise by $10 on the day of the ride For more information about the routes and prices, click here.





 

Foodies and wine enthusiasts are looking forward to partake in this four day Taste of the Santa Ynez Valley starting on Octover 17. Restaurants, wineries, tasting rooms and more will welcome you with events happening throughout the wine counties of Los Alamos, Santa Ynez, Los Olivos, Solvang, Ballard & Buellton.
